Phil graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Washburn University in 2000.  Upon graduation, he wanted to put his degree to use and jumped into human services working with youth tied up in the adoption and foster care contracts of Kansas, usually steaming from abusive or drug inflicted homes.  It was in 2003 when opportunity in the financial services world came knocking and he was asked to take his talents of working with people to a new level.  He accepted a position with Personalized Brokerage Services and quickly became nationally recognized as one of the top annuity marketers in the country.  It was in 2014 when he teamed up with Shawn Sparks to help the nation’s most elite financial advisors in the country, get even better.  With access to the top income planning tools and products in the industry, Phil and his team of business coaches, help build retirement income strategies for clients that give them the confidence they deserve in retirement.  In addition, they are all certified practice management specialists, having been exposed to the many challenges of running a small business, in turn helping advisors run a more efficient and higher revenue generating business.  Their core group of clients collect more than $2B in new assets on an annual basis, helping to shield those assets from unnecessary fees and unforeseen risk, thus helping hard-working Americans make the golden years, truly golden.

In his spare time, Phil enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Lori, son Easton and daughter Enslee.  They are highly involved in year round little league sports and dance competitions.  Phil also volunteers on a regular basis in his local community, loves anything related to the great outdoors and appreciates time with friends!
